Welcome to Our Church

Built in 1893, our church has a long and cherished history at the heart of the community. After a major fire in 1988, the building was restored, re-ordered, and extended to create a bright, flexible space linked directly to the community centre. The removal of the old wooden pews has allowed us to host a wide range of activities, from study courses and concerts to social events, including our annual Summer and Christmas Fairs. We are also home to the Rossendale Ladies Choir, who rehearse here each week.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults is central to our mission and ministry.

It is integral in the Diocesan Vision, which asks us to consider how to make our church communities healthier.

It is everyone's responsibility

Safeguarding

Our Vision Statement:

To make the love of Jesus Christ known, felt and shared throughout Haslingdon and beyond.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Matthew 28:19-20

Generosity

We value your donations, no matter how small, it makes such a difference to the running of our church, and our ability to be able to open up the church and put on events.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7
