Worship & Facilities
Our main worship area seats around 250 people, with a smaller side chapel available for quiet prayer or more intimate services. We have recently upgraded our sound system, including a hearing loop, and we livestream our services on Facebook so that anyone can join us from home.
Accessibility is important to us. The church offers:
-
Ramp access at the front entrance
-
A stair lift connecting the church to the community centre
-
A fully wheelchair and ‑pramfriendly‑ layout
Giving & Mission
We run a planned giving scheme with the option to donate via weekly envelopes or standing order. As part of our commitment to generosity, the parish tithes its income—donating 10% each year to six charities. Three support overseas work and three support UKbased‑ causes, chosen annually by the PCC from congregation nominations.
Our Gardens
Alongside the church is a beautiful, well-maintained garden cared for by volunteers. It is open to the wider community as a peaceful space for reflection and is used each year for our Easter Day dawn service. The Garden of Remembrance provides a dedicated and tranquil area for the interment of ashes.
Caring for Creation
We are committed to improving sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. Recent upgrades include the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting, and the Vicar, Church Wardens, and PCC continue to explore further ways to care for our environment.
